I have lost one of the drain, vent, fill plugs from the lower unit of my 1948 Johnson PO-15. I was wondering if anyone has an idea where I could pick one up. I think that this plug is a 5/16 coarse thread. Thanks.

I may be wrong But I think later OMC and Mercury will fit 5/16 coarse threads.

The 21-63 in Gary’s part’s blow up is the plug; for sure. I have tried late model OMC plugs which are larger diameter. I will check out other year’s plugs and Merc plugs as well. Thanks for the help and ideas. I was thinking that a Member might have a plug in a tray somewhere…….

If the head diameter is to large grind it down.

21-212 these went obsolete in 1973 and 1974 with no new part number.

There is an outboard salvage yard South of Mpls. I will try the obsolete number with them….
