These things are normally finicky and can require minor adjustments when running. But for them to run the best there can’t be any dirt in the system. To be sure the system is clear, remove the poppet valve assembly. Put a clean paper towel under the carb assembly, turn on the fuel for a bit, catching the fuel and any dirt that may be in there. Then remove the poppet valve and the mixture screw, and flush out the poppet valve assembly, also over a clean paper towel, checking for dirt. Keep doing this till there is no dirt getting into the system and the first thing to check anytime the motor should start requiring more mixture adjustments that normal. Tubs
