Unfortunately Michael, that a tough model to find parts for. I don’t think a lot of them survived, and even when a rough one comes up for sale they sell for crazy money. There is a very nice original example now on eBay in its original crate for $4500!
You can try eBay, parts pop up once in a while. Another source might be https://oldoutboard.com. You can also try posting a want ad in the classified section of the newsletter. Good luck.

I have a good, clean gas cap with vent screw. It needs the cap gasket and possibly a vent screw gasket. Original vent screw gasket may still be good. The cap is from a late 30’s to early 40’s Neptune 1.2 or 1.5 hp. The teardrop tank looks identical to the Cub tank. If someone can confirm it fits, I will need your contact information. I already emailed a response to your classified.

Beside some Neptune’s, your gas cap was used on the Elto Pal. The Cub cap is smaller, however at the end of production the small gas cap was also used on the Pal. Tubs

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
