Im just about done with my Ruddertwin.

I have the cylinders nickel plated. Problem is, I didn’t seal off the bore hole, so there is nickel on the inner bore. I figured I could hone it off later. Easier said than done. I have been honing for about 2 or 3 minutes each jug, and its still on there. Seems to be thinning, but wanted to check if anyone had a better way to do this?

They nickel plate bearing surfaces now. That should give you a longer lasting motor. Run it and enjoy. . . 😀
