Elto Ruddertwin Flywheel question

How do I get the knob off without screwing it up. When I turn the screw the center of the knob turns. There is nothing to grab onto that will hold it in order to remove the screw. What am I missing here?

You can’t unscrew it. The knob is pressed into the flywheel and peened over. Take a large round punch, bolt or whatever and pound the knob out from the underside.Using something about the same diameter as the screwhead.

Thanks Wayne. That worked. Now I understand how they did it. When taking it apart, I obviously ruined the peened over material. I hope there is enough material left when I put it back together.
