      Q. why are there LEFT handed and RIGHT handed Kill buttons on timers
      for Elto ruddertwins ?
      removing the timer covers on both left and right hand
      the workings .
      all are on same side (left hand side ).
      Only marking on timers are covers are the word ELTO for left side kill button
      One right hand side kill button timer there are no makings at
      ON THE COVER PLATE

        IIRC, the later models had a little wire bump out so that when you retarded the timing all the way to the left, the wire would depress the stop button so you could prime the motor. So the one with the button on the right would be from an earlier model.

          this wire is what I have seen attached on the gas tank correct?
          some my tanks have it .
          some not, maybe just broke off along the way ?
