      yes,i have a 1939 elto lightwin 5hp when setting the points where should the retard and advance be pointing when i set them on tdc any help would be great thanks

        It doesn’t matter if your magneto is advanced or retarded.
        Just make sure when you set the points they’re on the highest spot
        on the point’s cam. The point setting is no doubt .020.
