Here’s some pics of a 4425 showing the water tube I mentioned.

Same gearcase as yours, right?

Here’s the water tube sticking out which has to align with a corresponding hole in the housing on the right.

To align it, I use a small flashlight and a screwdriver or something thru the exhaust outlet to get it where it’s supposed to be while putting everything back together. If you have yours apart this far, it wouldn’t hurt to blow the tube and cooling system out with compressed air before reassembling.
