Evinrude Mate or Elto Cub Gas Cap Retainer

Looking for an original and correct Evinrude Mate or Elto Cub gas cap retainer. I believe the one shown below is correct but not sure. Have the cap but need the retainer. Will buy complete cap and retainer if necessary. Thanks, Jim

To improve your odds of getting what your
looking for that small gas cap was also used
on other motors. Johnsons with this style gas
tank and the Pal also used it on their tanks
in the couple last years of production. Possibly
others.

A "Boat House Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Thanks Tubs. I believe the picture shows the correct cap and retainer that I’m looking for. I’ve been watching Johnson’s and others like you suggested on fleabay but so far no luck. Thanks for your reply.
