I have a mod # 7031 ser # 12505 Evinrude opposed 4 cylinder engine. I think it is a 33.4 hp. Does anyone have any info on this engine. Original color? Possibly a picture of original decals.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Thanks for the photos . Any trick to free up cylinders? I have removed the powerhead but have not removed the cylinders yet. Have the crankcase and cylinders full of light oil. I will install grease fitting in head and try to pump full of grease to break pistons loose. Any suggestions?

1950 SpeediFour. 150lbs of fun on the right boat! Original color was silver on the steel and nothing on the aluminum. Only decal is on the tank.

You don’t want to use the grease gun method unless the cylinders
are removed and the rods separated from the crank.
Otherwise if more than one piston is stuck it will force something you don’t want to.
Tubs has a lot of experience with these old timers, He’ll help you get it going.
                  Good Luck with your motor!

Please do not pump grease into it. Remove the cylinders & soak the assembly then listen to Tubs
