They were standard equipment for several years (with various designs). Until replaced by a horn in the control. Horn is a lot better, unless you go all day with your eyes glued to the light.
Yes, but now we are back to horns & lights to tell you what the horn is about. As of 1996 OMC anyway decided to add a gauge with lights since they had the horn making multiple sounds no one could keep it straight what they meant? Now you have a light that tells you what system is involved.
