      Can somebody fill me in on the correct colour scheme for Evinrude simplex controls for 1953-1960 ish. I know my Johnson controls, but not sure about their Evinrude counterparts.

      1953-55 blue?
      1956 Black with red tag
      1957 black with red tag
      1958+??
      How about the two pictured? Where do they fit?

        From the 1956 Evinrude brochure – Earlier ones were painted Evinrude Blue 😀
