Just picked up a really nice Evinrude model 4305-00861, which I think is about a 1944. I’ll try and post some pictures when I get a chance, it’s a beautiful original with the paint and decals pretty much intact. I know it’s going to need a new rubber tiller grip and plug wires at the very least along with a good service. Just curious what the correct type plug wire is and where I might find a reproduction grip. Apart from that it’s in really good shape, just a bunch of varnish in the tank
The Sportwin model 4305 was built in 1939. It needs a good stranded copper care High voltage wire. I always used Packard 440 wire. This is the 1940 model which has a different decal. . . 😆
