I had the opportunity to pick up this 1929 Johnson 16 S-45 (13 hp) on the weekend. The motor is currently stuck, but there is no sign of rust in the cylinders. Someone has “upgraded” the tiller arm to a home fashioned model. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Vacturi carb in place of the original. Hopefully, it once ran in this configuration. I have the operator’s manual for this motor. Would anyone have the parts catalogue?

And interesting fact…This motor was found in Canada. The fuel tank says Made in Canada while the rope sheave says Illinois.

Great acquisition! You’ll have some fun with that piece of old iron.
It’s in nice barn fresh condition too!
