      US Member - 1 Year (includes $3 online payment fee)

      Assembling the exhaust cooling plate/cover to the powerhead of a 1956 Johnson 30HP. I have new gaskets and 3M847 and Evinrude/Johnson gasket sealing compound #508235 (the non drying kind). Should I use either of these to seal the gaskets?

        Yes, the gasket sealing compound.

          Don’t forget to put some sealant on the bolt treads also. The next guy that takes it apart will thank you!
