I bought this off Amazon a while back. Haven’t field tested it yet.

For high temp and high strength gaskets the best that I have found is Fel-Pro Pro-Ramic 2499. Its a high temp gasket material that has a perforated metal core. Bought a sheet from NAPA. Not easy to cut into delicate shapes like head gaskets, but can be done with care.

So this stuff says it’s good up to 300 degrees. How hot does the exhaust get on a little 2 cyl motor like the kd4?

          NAPA part number STM-2

We have a local tractor / lawn mower parts store that carries every gasket material you could need and you can buy any size you want by the square inch. It’s a really handy place to have.

I have had good luck using Klingersil C4401. It’s high temp and very strong stuff.

Hey boggs, can you tell me where you got that stuff?
                  Thanks!
