      Some seals have a coating on the outside that may work as a sealer.
      It certainly won’t hurt to put a little bit of aviation gasket sealer on either way.

      Prepare to be boarded!

        Go to the site below. They made the original seals. Enter the OMC part number and it will tell you their current number for anyone to buy at any bearing/seal supplier.
