Folding Sportwin Decals

Hi folks, If anyone has a Folding Sportwin (model 1N or 2N) with traces of the original decals, please consider taking some photos and sending them to me. I am in the process of reproducing these for a motor I have.

Thanks, we’re getting somewhere now. I pretty much have the layout correct, but still can’t figure out the color of the EVINRUDE on the rear deal. I don’t think it’s black, because the black in some other words remains, but not on the big name. Blue is likely, but darker than the one in Dixie’s version. Also, there is some indication that it’s outlined in black, then in white. It looks like “The Original “is black outline with gold or yellow text, I hadn’t known that before. Based on a really nice ’29 Fastwin tank I have, there is stippling in the diagonal area under “Evinrude” on the end decals. I will have to assume the decal on the top of the tank is similar to the one on the other Evinrude motors of the era, but that may be wrong.

We’re getting there…

Guys,
I just read this thread and can help with getting these decals correct. I have a set of original Fleetwin decals that still show the colors very well. I also can take photos of my folding Sportwin that show the decals very well also. Is this still something that you need Tom?

Mine look about like Tubs first pictures so I’m not much more help here. Still haven’t gotten to look at it.
