      I was recently given a Lockwood ace outboard that hasn’t run in 5 years or so. I was curious about what type of fuel you guys are running and what your oil/gas ratio was. hoping to get it going soon.

        Lockwood outboards like a lot of oil. The minimum oil would be 16 to 1. I would run it on 8 to 1 just so it has enough oil. As for fuel, no need to go hi test. Regular will do fine. These are just my own opinions.

          A well known saying around here … oil is cheap, parts are expensive!
