Gale 12 hp ring size?

Anyone have the specs for piston rings for
a 1951-53 Gale / Wards 12 hp?
The original ring number is 301787
Need the bore size and width of the rings.

Diameter 2.375" Ring width .0925"-.0935"

EDIT: That was the ring diameter. Cylinder bore spec is 2.3765"-2.3775"

The 12D10 and 12S10 motors had a 2.375" bore while the later ones used a 2.250" bore. QD/Sportwin rings will fit the earlier models and the ring width is 3/32" for all of them. Shoot me if I’m wrong.

My list says the 378416 will fit. It is used in the 10 horse Evinrude Sportwin. . . 😀

Yeah, I shoulda looked. 301787 individual ring is superseded by 378416 ring set (3) rings).

Thanks guys. There was a good deal on Ebay for some 2-1/4" rings,
but it sounds like they’d do me no good for my two 12D10 ish
outboards. They’re both currently "froze" anyway, so I’m not
really looking for rings…… just thought that for the price
they might come in handy some day!
