Sorry I know it has likely been asked and answered on this board before, but when replacing the cork gasket on the two line pressure tanks do you need to apply any sealer to it? Between the tank and gasket? Between the gasket and the assembly?

Thanks as always for the helpful assistance provided by you experienced members.

I have never used any type of sealer for this application. Just the cork gasket.

Same here, no sealer needed. Just be sure you have good washers under the screws and tighten them up evenly, keep going around until all are snug. Hope that helps. Happy motoring !

Either way you will be fine.

Diaphragm does not require sealer either. I like to put some on the hole though where the plunger goes through.
