I’ve been searching around but striking out on finding a good source for bulk 5/32" and 3/16" ID fuel line. I’m go through this stuff like it’s going out of style, particularly with the newer motors that have fuel priming systems rather than chokes.

      Any recommendations?

I just go to Napa and buy it by the foot

The guy at NAPA told me the fuel hose they had was not Coast Guard approved. I needed hose from the portable tank to engine. Went to a Marine supply store instead and bought some bulk, pricier than NAPA though. What I bought was thicker walled than the Factory OMC Fuel tank line. But it was less expensive than a new OMC fuel tank line with the bulb and 2 connectors. I’m ready for a Coast Guard inspection.

Look for Dayco brand fuel hose. The 5/16 looks the same as BRuP, OMC. Should be in Auto Parts stores. Not chains like Auto Zone, O’rielly or Pep Boys.

Very odd. I’ve never had any problems with that. Fuel line, is fuel line. LOL

I thought that REAL marine grade hose had an extra liner that was supposed to keep those nasty fuel fumes from migrating through the hose.
Important for inboard engines with below deck fuel lines and tanks I suppose?

Fuel lines have changed a lot in the last Twenty Five years. Yes there are USCG types A1. B2. But outboard motors do not use these hoses on the motor themselves. Only the lines on the boat use the USCG type. Most fuel lines have the liner to stop problems with ethanol fuels.
