This Goodrich Sea Flyer G3LGS was made by Champion, but what is the Champion
      equivalent model?

      According to this thread…..
      viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11419&p=60136&hilit=g3lgs#p60136
      this Sea Flyer is …
      5 hp, with a B x S of 1.88 x 1.75
I see no Champions listed with this B X S.
I have several Champion Blue Ribbons and was hoping to use
one for parts, but it doesn’t look like I have a similar power head.
      Thanks.

Thanks Frank! The two definitely have the same bore and stroke.
Will research the Jubilee, as I don’t have that model. Who knows,
maybe the Goodrich will be in the 2% category that I can get
              Un-froze.
Your Goodrich data says "pressure lubricated main bearings."
I assume it doesn’t have an oil pump, so what’s that all about?
              Centrifugal pressure?
              Much appreciated!

P.S.- Very hard to find photos or info. on Champion Jubilee’s.
Also, I thought "Jubilee" meant 50 year anniversary, but
              apparently not. 😕

Pressure lubricated, eh? Sounds like it came from the marketing dept. However, it is not unusual to use differences in crankcase pressure and/or intake manifold pressure to cause oil to flow the the main bearings. But wrist pin bearings?? Sounds to me like they just invented a fancy way of describing plain sleeve bearings.

Nice to see it has the side and rear cowls. These are often removed the first time spark plugs need replacing and not put on again.

That seems to be a common spec for small twins (5, 7.5 and the later 6,and 7.8),’53-’57.
