I bought my first antique outboard it’s a 1954 Goodyear Seabee.
I have looked all over the internet for a picture of the outboard and I am Unable to find one the motor Has a horrible rustoleum paint job . I have a starter for it and it works on the motor but I am not sure is the correct for the motor it looks like it’s for a gale buccaneer. Did Seabee used the same starter ? Thanks

        Seabees were made by Gale.

The Gale Products devision of OMC built a lot of outboards – many parts are interchangeable. They diferentiated between the models by switching fuel tanks, rewind starters, decals, colors, and motor covers. Early Sea Bees favored blue and Yellow. A model number is essential to get it right. These are just a couple of the models Gale built in ’54

                      Then it is a 45GG9014A (5S10) A popular model. Here is the parts layout. . . 😀

I could only find one Sea Bee picture. I’m not sure of the year or Horse Power. FRANK ?

A 1954 5hp Sea Bee could also be a 025-3573 (5D10G) with a neutral clutch. This is why I asked for a model number.
