Has anyone used a jackplate for their older motors?

I’m thinking about buying a manual jack plate so that I can mount a couple different motors. I have a 1964 75hp Speedifour and a 1959 Mark 75 that I’d like to try out on a 1964 17 foot duratech. I would like to be able to mount them without having to drill several holes in the transom. Any input would be appreciated.

Consider calling the jackplate manufacturer and ask them. They may have already been there, done that and have advice, cautions, tips, etc.

If you have too many, AND not enough, you're a collector.
