Help identifying Sears boat year

      Last night I acquired an old aluminum Sears boat to use my small outboards on. It has a identification plate but doesn’t have a HIN NUMBER SO IT MUST BE PRE 1974? Anyways the plate reads

      Model number: 581-61102-0
      Serial number : IS27F 1216

      Does anyone have an idea of what year this little guy is? I will need to know when I go to have it registered.

      I also got a 1971 evinrude sportwin 9.5 hp with the metal tank with it so I think I did pretty good.

        Are you sure you don’t have any numbers turned around on the serial number?

            Did you check the outside of the transom on the Right(starboard) side. Could be stamped into the metal, and thus no obvious tag.

              Yes I did the tag that I posted a picture of is the only identification on the hull
