Greetings. Before I put the gearcase and impeller back on this 7.5 hp I am wondering if there is a way of checking for water tube obstructions using air or water. I don’t see a pee hole. Is it possible to back flush it another way.

      Model 571.58771

      Thanks

The pee hole is nothing but a deliberate gasket leak ( a slot in one of the exhaust cover gaskets)..The “leak” gets plugged up easily. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t cooling.
