how to find the manufacture date for a Elto Ace

Hi all, I’m trying to find the manufacture date for a newly acquired Elto Ace # 4256-03648.

That would be a 1938 model, but can’t give an exact manufacture date.

Thanks BobW for that info. Is there a link or site you can refer to find more details. I’m no finding much online for this particular motor. Having much more luck with my 1948 Gale Hiawatha 1h1.

I don’t know of a particular website that’s dedicated to Elto, but there is actually a good amount of information right here on the AOMCI website. On the Forum main page, just enter Elto or Elto Ace in the search bar and you’ll likely find a number of posts about your Ace.
