Man you are having too much fun lately! Making me jealous with all your finds. You must have found a new portal into another dimension of the “Magic Barn”!

Brace yourself Bartlett. Another one, from the portal, this time a very rare racing model A35, with the exhaust cutoffs.

Stanley-…all three have 9/16 nuts and 5/16 lines. Two have the 022/012 jugs. All have serial numbers that indicate 1927. Any idea how I can trace the 011/021 jugs? I’m thinking they are all A35, but the last piece unresolved for me are the differing jugs. I also welcome any info on what I suppose are cutoff exhaust pieces.

If the waterlines are all A35 size, then the jugs are A35.The 021/011 number matches those on my late 1926 A25.My guess is they tapped some late A25 jugs to take larger lines and used them to make some early A35s.I think A25,A35 and A45 exhaust manifolds will interchange.

Interesting stuff. The manifolds are similar to those of my Pacific Pumper.

I wonder why the manifolds are forward facing on your extremely rare and heretofore unknown racing A35-R?

Someone had them off and put them back on the wrong cylinders.

I’m assuming the manifolds are cutoffs. Is that right? Cleanly done. But why? Would that provide more power? Piss off the neighbors? Muffler blew out and no replacement available?
