I guess I got it all in the subject but here is the longer version, I bought Ign. parts based on original part #’s for my 1954 25hp Evinrude. The original 510173 condenser seemed to have been superseded by 580321 but then after i got the 580321’s in and i checked the mfd they were .32 and .36 and I have found charts here on this site that shows they are checking kinda close to their spec., problem is the original 5140173 was a .2 mfd range condenser so is this all within an acceptable range or are these .3 condensers checking .32 and .36 just wrong for my engine and I was mislead in somebody’s cross reference chart.

I got a few I have had a long time but can always use a few more going into retirement.

The 580321’s will work just fine, as proved by a few millions of replacements.
