Hello…..
The parts manual states a oem # 3LGS32. Is there a source? Perhaps a match with a more common motor?
Maybe one of these guys?

September 2, 2017 at 3:18 pm #64175Champion had their own technology and are not too common outside the Minneapolis/St. Paul area where they were made, especially the larger ones such as you have. I have no idea what fits. If you could measure yours up and post pics and dimensions, you will probably get some suggestions….
There was bunch of Champions at Tomahawk.

September 2, 2017 at 7:21 pm #64186Is there still a guy making the Champion Hotrods based on the 16 HP motor? If so, he may have impellers. Up until Lyle Swanson folded up his shop, (I think it was in the late 1980s) I could drive 15 miles and get almost any Champion factory part I needed, plus any advice I needed. Lyle told me after he sold off the 16 HP parts and rights to the Hotrods to a guy out east that he did that because he decided to get out of racing because he got tired of arguing with Mercury’s lawyers every time one of his Class B Hotrods beat a Mercury, which was often!
DaveSeptember 3, 2017 at 5:56 am #64231The last time I did one of those gearboxes, I used a Suzuki impeller. It was part #17461-92D02. Sierra part # 18-3000. These impellers are too thick and will need to be sanded down from 3/4" to 5/8" thick. You may need to enlarge the inner diameter to fit the shaft. Remember that the replacement impellers need to be drilled and pinned to the shaft.
September 3, 2017 at 8:53 am #64232Hello Chuck,
I may not truly result in any help in the end result, but if you might provide the shaft diameter, at least the outside diameter of the vanes (like when the impeller was new), and check the thickness at 5/8" (or measure with a caliper), I can look through the various impellers we have for a possible match.Regards,

September 3, 2017 at 5:00 pm #64251Are we talking about the standard service shift model?
Note that there were some inlet and outlet modifications in a service advisory for the 15/16 to improve cooling water flow.
One member would reuse your old brass core and remake the impeller. These were a bit pricey.
Another option was to find a similar size impeller from a scott 10hp but then also use a thicker washer to effective shim the water pump housing up to the correct clearance. The drive shaft dia is correct.
