      Morning,
      I completely rebuilt the carbs on these two motors, new floats and needles as well, what are the initial settings to start out with?
      I seem to recall reading somewhere, turn needles all the way in and then back out 1-1/2 turns? I can’t find that info again.

        John-
        The low speed needles (top ones) are set approximately 1.5 turns out from gently seated. The high speed needles (bottom ones) are set .75 turns out from gently seated.
        These initial settings are just to get the engine started and running, don’t try to "fine tune" the adjustments much until you have the boat in the water.
