    Is this a magnetizer device for re-magnetizing fly wheels , etc.?

    I have only seen one magnetizer for magnetos, but that does not look like it.

    Sort of reminds me of an armature tester for electric motors. Not sure what you would actually call it, but I always heard it as a growler

    Mr. Asa nailed it. It’s a growler.

    These are magnet chargers for flywheels. The first one has a magnet from a Ford Model T on it and is ready to go. The Stevens unit at the bottom is the Holy Grail of chargers for our motors!

    Here’s one in progress I’ve been working on for several years now. Guess I should finish it sometime.
