      this pulley was zip tied to the handle on this engine. From all the drawings I have seen I do not believe it is from the engine. Can anybody confirm?

        looks like the starter rope guide pulley in the rewind.

          I think a slightly more perspective view would confirm Dave’s presumption.

            I agree with Dave. there is also a small bolt that holds it, and a bushing. Geez, you get that back in place and you’d be surprised how easy it will pull over……

              Thanks Guys. I will check it soon. The starter pulls now but seems to click a lot on the return. The drawing I saw on marine engine .com looks like you do not have to pull the whole thing apart and that the pully is closer to the front of the motor.
