J/E 2 line connectors Part 2

Hi guys,
I received my BRP Orings today for my connector rebuilds. Couple questions. I have dis assembled 4 connectors, cleaned all parts, polished all the brass internals and sprayed the connector bodies gloss black (VHT Engine enamel). When I re assemble the parts, 2 questions,
1 Should I soak the new Orings in 2 stroke oil? I thought I remembered reading that someplace…but my mind wanders and I could be hallucinating

2 Do I apply any kind of sealer or blue locktite to the brass rings before tapping them back into place in the connectors

any and all help with these questions is highly appreciated

1. Not sure if it would do anything either way. Ive never soaked them before anyways.

2. Nope, just tape em in clean and dry.
