Hi folks, I’m getting close to trying to fire up my AT-39 after a lot of help from people on this forum and in this community. I have a question about something I saw in a manual, I was wondering if this problem still exists using Cornhead grease rather than the old lower unit lubricant.
Apparently there was a problem with grease oozing out of the swivel bracket coming from the gearcase as a result of the water pump plunger. Should I follow these instructions to drill some relief holes or just leave it as is?
