The two "spring steel" grounding tabs on the coil of the DT-38 I’m
working on are half gone. They’re like the ones in the photo
      of this LT-10 coil.
What would be a good replacement material to make some?
I’m not sure of the gauge yet.
I was thinking of something like "feeler gauge" material.
      Any other ideas?

      Thanks!

Old reed valves maybe? They are made of beryllium copper.

Mumbles, that’s one idea I didn’t think of!
Not sure I could find any long enough though.
Will have to take some measurements today.
          Thanks.

I finally got around to measuring the tabs a while ago.
            They’re about 2" long, 7/32" wide, and .010 thick.
I have not got around to tearing apart kitchen appliances
yet to look for suitable material!
