1924 is the year. I have one about 650 motors before yours it was my first old motor that got me into collecting them. Great motors. I now have several. Pm me when you have a chance. D9J is what plug is called for. I would have to see what’s in mine. I believe I have been able to clean up what we’re in mine when I got it and they worked fine

This ’24A has a similar modification.

It does have character. And yes it originally had a 2 blade prop. One of the early modified cottage racers love it

Looks like a previous owner has a sense of humor!
Only problem, does one leave the graffiti on the motor
                    and preserve it’s prior history?

                    Prepare to be boarded!

think i’ll have to leave it for now since all i had to do was free it up and clean the points and it fired up on starting fluid. just have to clean carb and tank and go through rest of it now.anyone know points gap

I think the points gap is 0.020″. Plugs gapped at 0.030″. Fuel/ oil is 16/1 or 8 ounces to a gallon.
