Johnson QD-16 parts catalog and manual

Hi, everyone. I have just joined AOMC and I am hoping that someone might have information as to how I can access an owner’s manual and parts catalog for a 1955 Johnson 10 hp. QD-16. I have not been able to find anything. Thank you very much for your help. Tim.

Hi Tim, The pdf file I have for the Owner’s Manual is bigger than what’s allowed. I couldn’t compress it small enough. Someone might have one that’s small enough to post but if not I uploaded it to a share site, wetransfer, and got a link you can go to to download it. The link is valid for 7 days. It also has the Parts Manual but that one was small enough to post here.

Hello My new friends or I’m hoping any way. LOL I’m new at this and have a 65 15’ V bottom long star. I’m trying to keep the antique look. I have bought three or four different older motors. And have failed to get them running. I need help. The latest one is a 55 Johnson 10 hp QD 16 I’m looking for service manual, parts manual, PDF is fine can anyone help me thank you very much. money

I have both of those manuals you need but something isn’t right here as I’ve lost the option to post files.

I’ll post them here as soon as I figure it out.

as a member go to MEMBERS ONLY tab….. then INNER SACTUM tab…..go down to the LIBRArY SECTION …. and find……….. GARY SPENCER DROP BOX….

click it and find tons of info to download and most important the JOHNSON RED MANUAL for fixing up your QD

it is a big file so download it to a PDF file on your computer and if need be have it printed at a local print shop for a few dollars. They cab spring bind it

other files will give you info… maybe not the exact year but good enough. ex operator manual

Thanks, Crosbyman. Someone else also shared that with me in the past and I found it to be a big help. Last year, I was able to get the owner’s and parts manuals from Steve D., but I find that I’m running into the same problem as Mumbles; I can’t upload them here either for Frank Money.
