      how dose one go about changing the water pump on the TN28 or dose someone have a exploded view of how everthing comes apart on it?

        The Johnson parts book is not much help – the Spa King book is better. . . 😕

          Four bolts to drop the lower unit. Disconnect the ‘clutch cable’ from its connector at the clutch handle under the lower cover and slowly drop the lower unit. Be careful not to fray the end of the cable when you pull it out.

          Rest is like a standard OMC water pump.

          I found this link helpful when I restored mine a couple years ago.

            nice engine! mine is almost as nice looking with its orginal paint.. bit more of used look but still in good shape.

              If you are going to drop the foot, I would suggest you drain the gear oil first.
