80 PSI should be enough for it to run well. Not sure about the slinger.

Can anyone explain how to remove the prop shaft from a KA 37. The drive shaft and prop shaft just dont pull out?

I believe the ball bearing is pressed onto the prop shaft,
and is a light press into the gear case housing.
Normally if you heat up the housing and wrap on the
nose cone with a block of wood, the prop shaft and bearing
          will drop out.

Thanks Buccaneer. I will try that. Should the drive shaft lift out. Or should the prop shaft come out first. Neither one wants to move?

It looks like the pinion gear is pinned onto the driveshaft,
and I’m thinking the driveshaft would have to come out first,
              after you remove the pin.

So on the KA 37 without a water pump/impeller how does the cooling system work?

If you haven discovered how to get the gear off the drive shaft, there is a spring ring that covers this pin. It is a real PITA to get off.
