      I forget what I did to replace the bottom cranksshaft seal. Anyone ever do this seal? Sorry it’s been too long & I need help helping another member..PLEASE!!

        Hi Jeff, I cannot be absolutely sure on this, but I believe that bottom seal is the same as on the 2 Silent 6’s I am doing now. Before my wife got sick a couple of years back; you sent me a prop shaft out of a 5 that I re-sleeved for the Merc 6. I do have the seal #’s in the shop. Let me know as your more Merc man than me?

          The SKF seal noted is a little thinner.

            Thank you so much. I forgot about the other build. I do remember it took some time to get it running again.
            I have another motor I’m building, a Mk 30 of sorts now,
