That is the only identifying number that you will find on that motor. That is a Lauson model 410. the last four digits would be the serial number. the 7 may indicate that is a 1947 motor. I am guessing on the year. It is a 2.5hp,, 4 stroke, single. It takes around 10 ounces of 30 weight non-detergent oil in the sump. Polish the points and set at 0.020″ in. Check for grease in the gearbox. It should run and idle slow when running right.
