Gotta like that drill cord 🙂

It ripped the plug out of the wall, and pulled the drill off the bench
before I even had a chance to say oops!
One little nick in the cord, but drill still works okay!

That mark on the coil plate will usually be close. When the points wear the timing changes. I would recommend the 5/32″ to get the proper timing. I have found that the coil will run cooler when the timing is right.

Hope to get back at the Lauson in the next day or two. Have to play “catch up”
after being away at Tomahawk……. darn grass only takes a vacation in the winter!

I think I got the timing set okay….. at least it runs.
Few things to finish, rewind, cowlings, etc.
              Thanks for all the help!

Bucc, congratulations … nothing succeeds like success! But careful running without the lower shrouds, they are critical for proper cooling, so it’s said.

I’m rarely confident enough that I’m done tinkering with a motor to put the cowls
on before the first test start………learned that the hard way, lol.
