Looking for a owners manual for a QD 15 10 hp Johnson outboard

Hi all I picked up a 1954 qd 15 a barn find it looks like it was a low hour motor it was locked up and i got it freed up replace the coils ,plug wires and water pump impeller and changed the gear oil
got it running and took it out on the lake Gps say’s 16mph it runs great unfortunately the cowling with the wing nuts was missing i have found one but its in bad shape so that will be another project lol
so i am Looking for a owners manual and parts manual for a QD 15 10 hp Johnson outboard

it contains all you need to known about the qd and other oldies print of sections you need to PDF files for safekeeping

Here’s a PDF parts manual for your ’54 Johnson. I can’t find an owners manual at the moment.

Thank you Mumbles that’s what i needed

The cowling hood i got has the wing bolts but the trim is painted white like on my 55 i have searched on the web and i see some have white trim and some have the dull aluminum paint maybe the white was added towards the end of 54 ?

Thanks Crosbyman i had that motor 30 years ago wish i didn’t sell it it was fast on my 14′ rowboat

the hood i got has the wing bolts but has white paint on the sides instead of the dull aluminium paint i wonder if the end of 54 they changed to the white
