    Does anyone know a source for the Merc KH-7 coils?

    If you plan on using this motor very much convert to Phelon magneto . Find a old 10 hp Wizard they all had Phelon magneto and transfer to the KH7. OMC coils can be use on Phelon coil cores and its not hard to modify the core.

    So you only use 1 spark plug wire of the two solder spots on the military coils? Doesn’t, using only one spark output on the dual spark output of the coil, heat up the coil?

    Look closer marc, there is only one solder spot. I put these coils in and it woks fine.
