Pack it full of grease before you install the gear case cover and gasket. Then pump in some more after you button it up. Sealing it up dry will leave ALL KINDS of voids in the gear case when you think it’s full from pumping it into a dry case and waiting for it to come out the other hole. Check it after you run it for the first time also. When the grease heats up and then settles and cools you will find how much was missed by the dry fill. Oil will leak out of the gear case before you ever get close to the lake. I have the oil spot on my basement floor from my 53 Firestone to prove it.
