I know I need part 43 and maybe the rest of that mount assembly port side .. The guy said he had a new cover but has misplaced it He gunna call if he finds it …

What are the chances that on the part I need #43 are interchangeable with a 50 hp ?

they are the same on many moors even the left and right are the same except for the lettering.

Man time flies by .. Quick stupid question guys .. Is this the right fuel tank connector for this motor ?

With the lower unit off I want to see if this motor will run ..Was planning to fasten a water hose to the water tube and try and run it ..

Yes if it is the large one.

Check out the wiring – a lot of 60’s & 70’s Merc wiring had a disintegration problem.

looks like the granpa of my 1986 or so… 50hp or coudl have been a Classic 50 … Great motor . do try and get it going ! great trolling engine likes fuel more than a 4hp
but a great troller nonetheless 🙂
