Mercury Bendix Scintilla Condensers

I am looking for a condensers for my KG7.  The Bendix condensers in it are shot (leaking).  Coils are new.  Is there a common inexpensive condenser I can use that tests at .17-.21 microfarads?  Thank you.

strickly from a uf point of view there are very common .22uf cap. available

at .22uf  such a small difference  should not cause a problem  compared  to .17uf-. 20uf caps

 

if they fit…                     you also have small ceramic caps   you can wire in.

I have never workeda kg7 but caps are caps  and if they fit they should work.  you can even rebuild  them see article by M.M.Mohat
