I am working on my Mark 75 and want to replace the top bearing in the distributor (under the pulley) and am not 100% sure how it comes out. It appears that there are 3 bent tabs that may hold the bearing in, but im not sure? Can anyone lead me in the right direction?
You have it! Requires them to be bent. Be careful not to make a tight 90 degree bend as it needs to be bent back to hold it in place!
P.S. Be sure to buy a good sealed bearing! A friend of mine had to replace the bearing twice as it leaked grease into the lower area & soaked
both sets of points & he stopped in the middle of the lake after oil got on the points sets!! True story!!
